Despite my picks being terrible in week five, watching college football is always full of excitement and surprises. This week was a very busy week for me, so I will just be putting my records and picks below with no preview of the five games of the week.

Week 5 record (no spread): 2-3

Overall record (no spread): 16-8

Week 5 record (spread): 3-2

Overall record (spread): 18-6

#3 Texas vs #12 Oklahoma (Texas -6.5)

Game prediction: I hate this game is always noon, but it should be a great game. I was not high on Oklahoma last year, but a lot of changes have been made. Texas has been great, but I see this being a close 45-42 win by the Longhorns.

#23 LSU @ #21 Missouri (LSU -5.5)

Game Prediction: It is great to see Missouri with a undefeated record early in the season, but that will end here. Both teams should get up for this game, but I think LSU handles business in another 48-35 shootout.

#13 Washington State @ UCLA (UCLA -3.5)

Game Prediction: It is kind of weird line with UCLA being favored, but they do have a strong defense. I am not huge on quarterback Dante Moore for the Bruins and really like Cameron Ward for Cougars. Give me Washington State 30-24.

#20 Kentucky @ #1 Georgia (UGA -14.5)

Game Prediction: Georgia is coming off a close win versus Auburn and Kentucky dominated Florida. 14.5 is a lot of points. I could even see Kentucky winning this game, but there is no way I see Georgia covering this number. I know Leary can turnover ball, but if the Wildcats can move the ball on the ground, Georgia may be in trouble. I’ll take Georgia to win a close one again 24-20.

#10 Notre Dame @ #25 Louisville (ND -6.5)

Game Prediction: Louisville has been great this season and the run defense and defense overall has been good. Jake Plummer has to not turnover the ball and keep playing well for Louisville to have a chance to win. I will take the Irish to win and barley cover 24-17.
